Lend me Your Ear

Lend me your ear

And I'll whisper a tune
About a boy

Who danced over the moon

And the sun belly laughed

Watching him at play
Said hey young man

Spend some time in my rays

And the boy happily did

And it's where he remained
Until the moon reminded him

About nights of silver rain

It was then the boy learned

Each had their own merit
So he found time

To share both with his spirit

All through his life

A part of him they'll always be

For to enjoy both

Is to truly be free
