~~Patriotic Poems~~

Just because my demeanor is quiet or I am reserved...

Just because I don't speak of the past or put it on display for public edification...

Just because the tears are silent and the pain private...

It doesn't mean I'm not proud of what I endured or the man I've become as a result...

Rest assured and take it not for weakness, for my quiet countenance is just proof that my honor, silent or not is beyond such petty ideals...

THERE IS A WARRIOR that lurks beneath and he reverently awaits the call should he be needed again..

An oath taken, a promise made, a bargain struck...

Until my death, only then shall I be released

MJS

I don't talk about it much, and unless you also served...you may never hear me speak of it...

When I decided to join our Military Service, I swore an oath to protect this country from enemies both foreign and domestic. To uphold the UCMJ, The Constitution, Bill of Rights and all the Amendments of the United States of America.

I took that oath very seriously and it should be noted that as of this day, I have not been relieved of that oath.   There are a lot of my Family, and My Brothers and Sisters, who swore that same oath, and as a consequence, some of them made the ultimate sacrifice of giving up their lives for their fellow citizens and this Great Country....

So I will offer you all fair warning...

If you kneel when the National Anthem is playing or fail to remove your hat, I will ask you politely to do the respectful and honorable thing...

If I see you burning the American Flag, Stomping on it or treating it with any form of disrespect...I am going to correct the situation...with haste and an immediate response which will not be limited to Hostile intentions....If you get hurt in the process, (and you will) it is not of any concern to me, for you demonstrated zero respect and   I shall not offer you any in return.....
